Experimental string quartet Lipsync For A Lullaby make their Limbo debut in October (some five years after they first played the venue for short-lived Limbo sister-night Versus). These guys have built up an extremely loyal following for their innovative sounds over the last few years and we’re immensely looking forward to seeing what they have in store for Limbo.
And it’s effectively a double-headline bill, as Your Loyal Subjects return to the club (also five years after their last appearance in the building), triumphantly launching their debut album. Doug MacDonald’s riotous trio knows exactly how to come correct on-stage and are sure to be turning their amps all the way up to eleven for this one.
But first act on stage will be Numbers Are Futile, who have set tongues furiously wagging since emerging on the local scene just a few months ago and are thus just as hotly anticipated for this date.
Numbers Are Futile were forced to cancel this gig just a few days before it, due to bereavement. Limbo wishes them all the best and hopes to re-schedule their appearance for another date as soon as possible.
So, the mighty Zed Penguin have kindly agreed to step in at the last-minute and will perform as opening act on this date.
After the bands have played, the Black Spring DJs will be joining the dots on the decks as usual.
