LIMBO is very excited to announce the return of JESUS H FOXX! Hard to believe that’s been over five years since they last graced our stage at The Voodoo Rooms but it’s true. That’s not to say that the band haven’t been active since then. They’ve been through various line-up changes, released an EP and an album and have another EP and a split-single due for release later this year. Anyway, with their unique take on the style of classic bands such as Pavement and Talking Heads, we can’t wait to witness what they have in store for Limbo.
First support comes from up-and-coming electro-folk soloist HAILEY BEAVIS, who wowed Limbo last January, when she appeared as support for Kirsten Adamson. One of the best up-and-coming solo acts on the circuit, with a loyal following to prove it, Hailey blends a traditional folk troubadour style with dashes of electronica and bags of style. Oh yes, she’s something of an original.
Second support comes from TRAPPED MICE, who have been around long enough to release a debut album, Winter Sun, (in November ’12) but make this their Limbo debut and we’re very much looking forward to witnessing it and, judging by the number of devoted fans they’ve amassed in this relatively short time, quite a few others will feel the same way…
The Black Spring DJs will be joining the dots before and after the bands as usual….
