Band’s Biog:
Formed in Edinburgh in 2008, Homework are O. Kass (vocals, guitar, synths), R. Baird (vocals, guitar, synths), A. Dennis (Bass), R. Kass (drums). 2009 saw them release their first EP, the critically acclaimed Sleepless Nights. To support the EP they embarked on a Scottish tour that culminated in an appearance on the unsigned stage at Scotland’s biggest music festival T in the Park. Tracks from the EP were featured on Radio 1, Radio Scotland, 6Music, BBC 1 and Radio Magnetic.
At the end of 2009 Homework went back into the studio to begin work on their debut album. So far in 2011 they have released three singles Talk Down, Why Oh Why and Surfacing – all of which have received support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music and BBC Radio Scotland. The band were selected to showcase at this year’s goNORTH and brought their high energy live show to a number of UK festivals this summer. The mini-album ALL THAT GLITTERS was released on the 21 Nov 2011.
