Conquering Animal Sound Live at Limbo by Olga Tyukova
This November, it will be four years since Limbo first launched as a weekly Thursday night ‘live music dance party’ at the Voodoo Rooms. Things have changed quite a bit since then, not least the Edinburgh and Scottish live music scenes, both of which have changed almost beyond recognition, compared to the way things were almost half a decade ago. There’s more brilliant live music happening in Edinburgh right now than ever before, with a similar renaissance taking place across the nation and this fourth anniversary will be as much about celebrating that as the role that Limbo has played in it all. And what an incredible bill to mark the occasion!
Break-away Scottish stars CONQUERING ANIMAL SOUND cap a magnificent year for them with this headline appearance, having wowed a packed-out Limbo in support of Meursault back in April. Support comes from equally inspiring Limbo alumni PUMAJAW (originally from London, now based in Perth and international performers in their own right) and PET (recently tipped as ones to watch by the NME).
