Micah P. Hinson

Micah P. Hinson (desert portrait)

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Micah P. Hinson is an old fashioned trouble man who fell pray to drugs and loose women, winding up homeless, destitute and incarcerated by the time most of his peers were filling in college applications. Music was his saviour, and since his internationally acclaimed debut album, The Gospel of Progress (produced by The Earlies), he’s pieced together a life for himself in his sleepy home-town, even proposing to his wife live on-stage in London.

He’s been playing on foreign and motherland soil for twelve years now, starting with the Sketchbook Records (UK) release of The Gospel of Progress up to last year’s release of The Nothing by Talitres Records (France) and his side project, Broken Arrows, on Bronson Records (Italy).
He’s now working on a new LP, while living with his wife and two dogs in north Texas….
